The first city on our tour was Johannesburg, South Africa’s largest city, and it definitely did not disappoint. The Montecasino complex in Fourways was a glorious facility and a great place to be our base, with so many things to do. The variety of food options along with multiple places to wet our beaks with a plethora of cocktails was just what we needed after the long flight from the U.S. From day one, Joburg made, what was most of our guests’ first foray onto the mother continent, a stop we couldn’t do without, from the tours to the safaris, to the shopping. Soweto, Mandela Square, Sandton, Cradle of Humankind, etc… Johannesburg filled us up with love and left us all wanting more.
